What the answer means
A net daily amount after upcoming bills
The calculator starts with today's cash, subtracts the bills you add, then divides the net amount by the calendar days through payday. The runway shows when each bill reduces the remaining balance.
It does not add the pay due on payday—or any other future income—because that money is not available now.
What should you enter?
Enter the cash currently available, then add each bill that will leave that cash between today and payday. Give each bill an amount and due date so the runway can place it on the right day.
Do not add the same bill twice, and do not enter future pay as cash available now. For recurring bills and a position you can save and update, use the full ClearTill preview.
Use the daily figure as a guide
Real spending does not happen evenly: a food shop or travel cost may use several days' worth at once. The result is straightforward division, not a guarantee or a personalised spending recommendation.

Methodology and privacy
Formula: (cash available now − bills due through payday) ÷ calendar days through payday = available cash per day.
Amounts are converted to whole pence before arithmetic and formatted as GBP. The result rounds down to the nearest penny so the daily amounts do not exceed the net cash left. The planning period includes today and the selected payday. The runway applies each bill on its entered due date.

Frequently asked questions
Does the calculator include my payday income?
No. Pay arriving on payday is not added. The calculation uses today's cash and subtracts only the bills you enter.
Which bills should I add?
Add bills due from today through payday that will be paid from the cash entered. Leave out bills already paid or due after payday.
What does the runway show?
It shows the cash remaining on each calendar day after any bill due that day has been subtracted.
Does ClearTill see the amount?
No. The calculation runs locally in your browser and the amount is not sent to ClearTill.
Can I save the result?
This free calculator does not save entries. You can run it again, or try the full ClearTill preview to maintain a fuller position.
